Barca in black and gold? We’re into wolf-whistling territory here. The kit is high concept: it’s represented by the slogan “The colours are within”, with the legendary Spanish club stating that “Barca fans’ heart are Blaugrana, no matter what is on the outside”. It’s only the third time in Barca’s history that they’ve had a predominantly black kit, along with 2011-12 and 2013-14.

Continuing the Italian theme, both Benevento kits are worth nabbing – either to wear in game, or as an investment. Along with Crotone, they’re one of two Serie A sides whose kits are silver rather than gold, meaning they’ll be hard to find all year. But while Crotone’s kits are fakies, Benevento’s are real, making them even more highly sought after.

It’s all white on the night for the All Blacks. NZ’s home strip is up there with Nike’s best: beautifully simple, classy, and – as it’s an international kit – sponsor free. It’s another that’s a formidable investment. Both New Zealand strips went for close to the maximum of 5,000 coins throughout FIFA 20’s lifespan, and that precedent is repeated this year.

Al Ain FC are the only UAE club in FIFA 21 and as I write this there are only three cards representing this kit on the entire transfer market, so snap it up quick if you want to sport it in-game. We have to make one thing clear in advance: The cards we present you here have made it to our final selection and some of them are very expensive. If you have a different opinion, and the player didn't perform that well in your team, then that's absolutely okay. We focus on the best card in their conventional position, so we don't take Alphonso Davies as a central defender or some nonsense like that now. Sure, that was meta, but we're getting rid of that for FIFA 22 anyway. Ready? Here are our 11 best FIFA 21 cards! Of course, there are one or two honorable mentions as well.
FIFA 21: The best goalkeeper
The keeper is really the most difficult position, because everyone has different preferences here. The TOTS-variants of Ederson and Oblak are really strong, Manuel Neuer TOTY is also one to mention here, but one man could hardly overcome any striker, and that was Petr Cech Prime Icon Moments. Cech is 1.96 meters tall, has 92 reflexes, and wears his legendary helmet to boot.

FIFA 21: The best fullbacks
Here the choice is comparatively easy. Early in the game we got TOTY Alphonso Davies from FC Bayern Munich, who destroyed everything and everyone with his 99 pace. Prime Roberto Carlos is, of course, also a machine, but there is no match for 'Phonzie'. Davies TOTY is the best LV in the game.
On the RV position we have chosen Festival of FUTball Marcos Llorente. The Spaniard has absolutely sick stats - unfortunately, he was denied the final upgrades. The runner up became FUTTIES Bruno Peres.
FIFA 21: The best center backs
Central defenders were the big weak point for a long time, and at no time meta players. You all know why. Towards the end of the game, EA was frantically trying to push CB's out. The two best cards here were End of an Era Sergio Ramos and TOTS Varane, also better known as auto block-Varane. TOTS Maxence Lacroix was also really good but can't touch the ex-Madrid duo.
FIFA 21: The best midfielders
Before you start hating: It depends on your play-style which midfielders suit you best. I need a healthy mix of pace, all-rounder, and skill. Thus, there is no better card than the 98 OVR Marcos Acuña. His FoF card has a worst value stat of 94. Jesus. At his side, Prime Icon Moments Patrick Viera or Prime Icon Moments Ruud Gullit is a good choice. Gullit prevails here because of his goal scoring ability. Agreed?
FIFA 21: The best wingers
Yes, not everyone plays with wingers, but some do, and you can switch positions in-game, so stop flaming. The best LW in FIFA 21 is Neymar. Whether in the Summer Stars or TOTS variant, the Brazilian destroyed everything. That is, if he hasn't booked a theatrical appearance.
On the right side, we've chosen Summer Stars Lionel Messi. His FUTTIES SBC is also insane, but also really expensive. You can't go wrong with Messi in the team, especially when you even have CR7 playing up front, making both fan camps happy. What a 5Head move.

There are so many kick-ass attackers now, but three players still stand out from the pack. Unfortunately, Kylian 'The Glitch' Mbappé didn't make the final cut, but the FIFA 22 cover star is still worth a mention. The two best strikers in FIFA 21 are Summer Stars Cristiano Ronaldo and Prime Icon Moments Ronaldo (R9). The two were always the first picks of the eSports players, and they'll know why. R9 was extinct for large parts of FIFA 21 and could only be grabbed via bots or sniping - that speaks volumes. And CR7 is just CR7. Simply OP.
